Lunar New Year Parade

Head to Chinatown Manhattan for the annual Lunar New Year Parade. East Houston Street to Canal Street (bet. Forsyth and Chrystie Sts.). See a color display of dragon dancers and traditional musicians as they make their way through the streets of Chinatown. Firecrackers will help liven the crowd. This year the parade will start at 1 pm, but be sure to get there early so you have a good spot to take photos from. This year will bring in the year of the Monkey.
